Term and conditions
1. Identification
LSH – Les Sabots d’Honor is an activity operated under self-employed status.
LSH acts as an independent equine broker.
2. Purpose
These General Terms of Service define the terms and conditions under which LSH – Les Sabots d’Honor operates as an intermediary / equine broker, specializing in support for the purchase and sale of horses.
LSH is neither the seller nor the buyer of the horses presented and does not hold ownership of them.
3. Nature of the Mission
LSH’s mission consists of:
connecting buyers and sellers,
supporting the parties throughout the search, selection, and communication process,
facilitating the sale process within a transparent and secure framework.
LSH acts as an independent intermediary and does not replace the final decision-making of either the buyer or the seller.
4. Non-Exclusivity
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the mission is non-exclusive.
The seller remains free to offer their horse through other means, provided that LSH is informed of any contact, trial, or sale, in order to ensure consistent follow-up of the mission.
5. Fees
LSH’s fees consist of a commission of 10% of the horse’s sale price.
The commission is payable only in the event of a completed sale resulting from LSH’s introduction or involvement, in accordance with the terms defined in the contract.
An invoice for fees is issued at the time of sale.
6. Liability
LSH undertakes to act with diligence, transparency, and professionalism.
However, LSH cannot be held liable for:
the horse’s state of health,
any future sporting or behavioral performance,
agreements concluded directly between the buyer and the seller.
Veterinary examinations, trials, and final decisions remain the sole responsibility of the parties involved.
7. Confidentiality
All information exchanged within the scope of the mission is treated as confidential and used solely for the purposes of the service provided.
8. Applicable Law
These General Terms are governed by French law.
